What the heck is wrong with people? Virginia Tech Shooting....UPD Officer killed!?
You all seem to know about the Virginia Tech shooting but in our area a Police Officer was shot and killed just the other night.
Officer Thomas Lindsey
Utica officials released more details about the officer killed on Thursday night.
--Officer Thomas Lindsey was killed during a routine traffic stop
--He was sworn in as an officer in October of 2001
--He served 6 years as a U.S. Marine prior to joining the department
--Officials say he was divorced
--He was seeing a woman from Frankfort for about three years.
--Friends say this women has two children and Lindsey treated them as his own as he was a big part of their family.
My condolences to all the families of these helpless victims!
It is sad and our condolences will not help any of the families for what they are about to go through!
It is sad that people lose the ability to cope enough to take the life of others, innocent people that had nothing at all to do with why he did it.
It is not only the police officer, but the countless others that lost their life today and the ones that may still loose their life because of someone so incredibly stupid!
And no, that is not "just life"!
Life does not have to be so damn bad for someone to make them want to do what this person did today or what any of the others have done in the past.
The sad fact is that there are so many people out there that don't care about anyone but them self that it cause grief and hardship on the ones that want to be cared about. It is a "me" world and this is what happens when people only think about "me"!
