How to import a picture in Photoshop CS4?
I already have a project going and I need a picture in the same project. Whenever I try to drag it disappears, then i click and the image appears back up, but in a pink hue. What's Going On?
The pink color indicates that you are in Quick Mask mode. Click the Quick Mask tool (rectangle with the circle center) to turn it off. To open a second image as a separate layer, open the second image and open the Layers palette - Window> Layers. Right click on the background layer plane of the second image and choose Duplicate Layer. In the paper pull-down field of the dialog box, select the filename of the document first. The layer to the second document must appear at the top of the background layer. If you want to see through the layer from top to bottom of the first, reduce the opacity the top layer.
