Do opinions about the show Family Guy differ between regions of the US?
I personally love the show. I noticed it has a lot of New England humor. I have lived in New England since I was 2, but I do not know if that has an effect on me finding the show hilarious. My Californian dad does not think the show is so funny, and does not get half of the jokes.
So I guess what I'm asking is, what area are you in and is Family Guy popular there?
I live in the Midwest near Chicago, am 28, and I love Family Guy. Several friends and co-workers are also big fans. We have FG quote fests all the time. My parents don't "get" the show. Other co-workers have said its "stupid". But I'd guess that FG is fairly popular here.
