Paintings of women with early pregnancy by hand on your stomach?

I have a daguerreotype of a young girl, perhaps His torso is turned towards the light side, but it faces the camera with a serene expression, remembering the works of Tintoretto and Raphael, who has is wondering if the hand on the belly-asking is a common indication of newly pregnant women in the portrait. Can anyone suggest paintings for the purpose of comparison?

Watch Van Eyck Arnolfini Marriage http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnolfini_Portrait you see the woman is in a similar pose. This image is usually considered a form of marriage contract, the style of dress, popular at the time, giving the impression of a pregnancy, or, as stated in the paragraph beginning Although many viewers assume ....... that this gesture with his hand on her belly as you mention, could simply have been a way of showing the willingness of the couple having children. So, not this may not pose a newly pregnant ladies indicationof but the willingness of a couple to prove fertile.
