Drawing Drawings building accurate from Old Photos?
I'm working on recreating an accurate drawing of the facade of a building old who had been demolished long ago. My only sources of information available are some old B / W photographs of the building, photographed at a 30-35 deg left and right of the building - parts of the front side of the building shows. So, in summary, I would like to make a reverse engineering "based on an old building. Is it possible? Does architecture have such technical or school of thought on this? What are the references available?
There is no special technique by reversing the procedure. First, you must set the scale based on the pictures you got. Check your scale on site conditions. Based on this scale, you can draw the figures you can find in the photos. Use AutoCAD in this area.
