Why do you think King Louis XVI did a good job representing the French people?

The actually long question i had to my history quistions was :3.At first, it seemed that King Louis XVI would cooperate with some of the demands of the Third Estate. Why do you think he did a good job of representing the wishes of the French People?
Louis XVI did his best to resolve the problems of France in the late 18th century. Sadly, his best wasn't good enough.
The king, unlike most of the nobility, recognized the need for reform. But the nobility, members of the Second Estate, refused to give up or modify the rigid system of favors and fiscal privilege that they had.
The French king was not an absolute monarch. He didn't have the political power to control the nobility. Perhaps a stronger king might have done better.
