How do blind people know what they look like? Or what anything looks like?
You mean a person blind since birth?
Quite simply, they don't.
Well, not like we do anyway. There have been cases of blind people who have taught themselves how to use echo location to make up for their loss of sight. There are also blind people who can draw and paint and create visual masterpieces of things they have never seen. Some also have a sense of spatial awareness: they know what a cube looks like and how it can change depending on perspective, even though they have never seen a cube before.
