My husband just joined the Navy!!!?

I am so nervous... I have been married to my husband for two years and we have two handsome little boys together. He just decided he wanted to join the Navy and left this afternoon to go take his ASVAB... I was wondering if any other Navy wives would give me some advice and let me know about some of the adventures of Navy life. Orders?Moving?Boot Camp?A School?Housing? I would like to know a little bit of everything thing I guess... Anything you would be willing to tell I would be more than thankful to know... Thanks very much...
I talked to him earlier today and he took his ASVAB and get his scores back already... He swears in tomorrow morning and picks his job... So give me a break people... I am a worried wife... I have no clue about the military... And please only leave positive answers... Don't tell me he is going to cheat and leave me... I don't think that is needed!!!

If your husband enlists, he will leave for bootcamp at some time decided between him and his recruiter/detailer. While at bootcamp, he'll be paid, and you will be able to get healthcare. After bootcamp he'll leave for A-school, a rating school where he will learn the basics of what he will do in the Navy for the next few years. Depending on the length of the school you will be able to join him at that command. There you will be provided housing or the means to obtain your own housing. Eventually your husband will be assigned to the fleet where he'll be gone for some time. You will be able to follow him to his Home port, but you will stay home when he goes under weigh. They have Fleet and Family Service centers at all major bases that help family transition into the navy and in between commands.
