My little girl dog is having trouble understanding what going outside is?
We have two pom pom the male is 9 yrs old and female is 2. She is a very smart little dog but she does not understand what going outside is. We have tried different stragies and none is working. SHe comes back in and goes in front of the shower.
My dog used to be the same way but we fixed that by making a calander. So on monday at 3:00 A.M. you will need to set your alarm for that time so you will wake up and take your dog out. Then before you leave to go somewhere example work or shopping. You just take your dog out about every 5 hours for about 6 weeks-2 months and he will memorize the scheduel and walk over to the door and thats when you go outside. If she dosn't go when your outside then just bring something to keep you busy and just watch and wait and eventually he will go to the bathroom. When he does, preaise him as much as you can and eventually, he will go and you will have to give him lots of praises in order for him to go outside next time. Eventually he will get it. Be patient.
