Foreign names in America ? What do you think ?

All of my favorite names are from other cultures. I like French, ( I'm from France), Italian, Dutch, Greek, Irish... you get the idea.
What is your impression of foreign names on American children?
These are my favorites:

Saskia- Dutch

Bram- Dutch

Eugenie- French

Didier- French

Persephone- Greek

Constantine- Greek

I just need some idea how these types of names would be responded to by my children's parents.

I love using foreign names. many of my ideas for children when i have them actually are not normal english names either. I love all of the names you put up. they are beautiful.

America is a diverse and varied place with people from many cultures. as is the UK. in my school we have a Coirle, Cloidnah, Marija, Elisabet, and many other names from other cultures.

do not conform because of where it is they will live. I say chose the name YOU are happy with, not anyone else.

(If it helps, if i have children, I want my daughter to be called Amelie Caillou (i hope i spelt that right. i cannot spell) and my son Stefan Markus, and i live in Northern Ireland!!)
