How 2 make 'brains' for kids halloween party?
I work in an after school club and for part of our halloween party, members of staff make up a box and the kids get to put their hands in and have a feel. Examples are: spaghetti or noodles for worms, rice for maggots, boiled eggs for eyes etc. I am makin 'brains' and had thought of cutting up marshmallows and mixing them with syrup. Does anyone have any better ideas and where can I find a child friendly picture of brains to print out and stick on the box? Many thanx.
I have always seen cauliflower used for brains...it breaks apart and has the ridges and sections just like a brain. If you steam it or boil it slightly, it will be softer, and wetter, like a real brain.
