Antique Photos For Sale

The easiest, cheapest way to make photo as they did in the 1800s? current method, not a photo editor?

I really really interested in taking pictures with the same equipment and techniques that 1800 old photographs. I know that the daguerreotype was common in the mid-1800s, but creating them is very difficult and dangerous so I was wondering if there was another common way that would be easier to happen today? I want it to be a semi cheap too, I do not know if there is one but I love the look of old photos and I create their authentically. Any info is helpful! Thank you for your time!

You can find detailed information on the World Naomi Rosenblum "A History of Photography ". It covers the beginnings of photography equipment and methods widely. There was not a detail of lady did not like. You might consider collodion negatives and albumen print. Unfortunately, there is nothing about what is good market. You'll need the camera with an adequate return for holding the glass negatives, darkroom to prepare and develop and print. You can use the sunlight for an exhibition, or pull an Edward Weston suspend a bulb in a coffee can that is painted black inside and outside and nailed to a 2x4. A single switch was used to activate it.
