How risque is it ok to be for Halloween?
My friends are all planning to wear really revealing costumes for Halloween. Most of them are like babydoll nightgowns with just a thong underneath or even less. Sexy seems to be the main theme. We're all going to a party and trick or treating. Most of us are 14, some are 15 or 16. Aside from being cold, I'm not sure I want to dress that sexy, but everyone really wants us to have matching costumes. My friends have pointed out that I wear less at the beach, which is true, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
The usual rules seem to be somewhat suspended for Halloween. It's one chance for people to really "let it all hang out," so to speak. But you shouldn't do more than you are comfortable with. Don't let your friends pressure you into something you don't want to do. If you really want to match, maybe you could wear a leotard and tights under your costume. You'll be less exposed and warmer, too.
