Ladies When married did you wear a vintage gown?
Vintage meaning an older gown. Maybe your mothers,grandmothers etc.... Some of the high class woman seek out gowns that famous women from the past wore. Like Julia Roberts.
Haven't got married yet, but getting there. I picked the dress out over a year ago, and I went with a very modern dress. I think picking the dress is a matter of personal taste. It isn't about what everyone else wants you to wear, whether it be your mother's, grandmother's or even greatgrandmother's dress. It is about what you want to wear, what you are comfortable wearing. Of course you also want to keep in mind the weather when deciding on a dress. If you are planning a winter wedding, you might want to pick a dress that has long sleeves, or has a matching shawl. If you are having a summer wedding, you might want to go sleeveless or strapless, or have sheer sleeves.
Like I said, it is a matter of personal taste.
